LobePro S Series Sludge / Abrasive Pumps
The S Series pumps from LobePro feature hardened steel wear plates and specially treated housing segments, ensuring exceptional durability and extended lifecycle performance, particularly in applications involving abrasive materials.
Lobe pumps are designed specifically for handling sludge in various wastewater treatment processes. They are commonly used to transfer sludge to and from thickeners, separators, digesters, and clarifiers. These pumps are highly suitable for pumping wastewater sludge that has been pre-treated to remove solid particles larger than 1/8". With a capacity of up to 2000 gallons per minute and a maximum pressure of 150 PSI, our pumps can efficiently handle sludge with reduced grit content. Additionally, if larger solid particles are present, we can provide customized solutions such as in-line grinders, filters, or knock-out tanks to ensure smooth operation.
The S Series is designed for many abrasive fluids (including highly viscous fluids) requiring:
- Pulse free or low shear pumping
- Self-priming or a strong vacuum
- Measured flow or constant pressure at different flow rates
- Ability to pump entrained air or gases
