Current Openings
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical System Sales professional to join our team in Calgary, AB, specializing in fluid handling systems for paint finishing, sealants, and adhesives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough technical review and select appropriate fluid handling systems to meet client specifications outlined in the Request for Quote (RFQ).
- Prepare comprehensive quotations for submission.
- Collaborate directly with represented manufacturers (Graco, Nordson, Global Finishing) to obtain technical information, project pricing, and special requirements.
- Ensure all quotations and orders are prepared and submitted according to schedule commitments.
- Upon receipt of purchase orders, complete the project charter and hand it over to the projects team for successful execution.
- Prepare the final document package upon project completion.
Requirements:
Recent graduate, or holder of a CET (Certified Engineering Technologist) designation in:
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Chemical / Process Engineering Technology
- Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering Technology
Courses or experience in fluid mechanics, hydraulics, or fluid handling systems.
Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial paint finishing and powder coating.
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in written communication for effective correspondence with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and experience in dealing with ERP systems (e.g., SAP NetSuite – Oracle).

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our industrial handling solutions business (pumps, motors, valves, etc.) in Northwest Alberta, ideally based in the Grande Prairie area. This role focuses on developing key and target accounts, building strong customer relationships, and expanding HMFT’s market presence through consultative, value-based selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Grow key and target accounts through strategic account planning
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Prospect and qualify new leads to maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Follow up on high-value quotes and drive opportunities to close
- Gather project requirements and support accurate, timely quoting
- Conduct site visits and equipment assessments to recommend solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM records of all sales activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective customer solutions
- Work with suppliers and participate in joint customer visits
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a technical discipline, or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Technical understanding of fluid handling solutions.
- Five (5) or more years of proven success in business development or sales within industrial or technical environments. Ideal Pumps selling experience.
