Grundfos
Grundfos MTR Immersible pumps
The MTR series features a wide array of high-efficiency pumps with various immersible lengths, designed to meet diverse flow and pressure needs. They can handle flow rates of up to 102 m³/h (1700 l/min) and pressures up to 35 bar. MTR pumps are customizable and available in cast iron or stainless steel, with multiple variants to suit your specific requirements.
In addition to applications in machine tools, washing, and cleaning, MTR pumps are also ideal for circulating cooling liquids. They serve effectively as condensate and filter pumps, and are well-suited for water treatment applications as well.
Features:
Motor:
- Standard IE3 motors (MTR) and IE5 motors with an integrated frequency converter (MTRE) are available for global voltage, compatible with both single and three-phase motors. They feature motor protection from Klixon, PTC, and PT100, or through the frequency converter. With an enclosure class of IP55 as standard, they are also available in a tropicalized variant for condensing environments.
Pipe Connections:
- Internal thread options: Rp, G, NPT Flange connections: Grundfos square flange, EN/DIN, JIS, and ANSI standards
Variable Lengths:
- To reach the exact depth of tank, the immersible length can be extended
up to 1.5 m, depending on pump size
Materials:
- Available in three material variants—cast iron and two different grades of stainless steel—suitable for a range of applications from clean water and coolant to chemical processes.
Seal Solution:
- Grundfos provides a diverse selection of balanced cartridge shaft seals with various seal faces, including Silicon Carbide, Carbon, and Tungsten Carbide, designed to handle nearly any industrial liquid.
Inlet:
- Equipped with a suction strainer to prevent large solid particles from entering and damaging the pump. The size of the passage in the strainer and the impeller varies depending on the pump size. A special priming screw allows for operation with liquid levels as low as 25 mm.
